2) Service Description

Mbegu is an AI-powered crop intelligence platform. We provide:

  • Crop disease scanning: Upload or take a photo of your crop to receive an instant AI-generated diagnosis, health score, and treatment recommendations.
  • Treatment plans: Step-by-step guidance on treating identified diseases based on your local conditions.
  • Scan history: A record of all your past scans and diagnoses (paid plans).
  • Supplier matching: Find nearby agricultural suppliers stocking the products you need (Pro plan).
  • Phytosanitary certificates: Exportable crop health certificates for buyers and supply chains (Pro plan).
  • Free farm tools: NPK fertilizer calculator and seed rate calculator, free for all users.

Mbegu is a digital software service. No physical goods are sold or shipped.


3) Delivery Policy

Mbegu delivers services digitally and immediately:

  • Free features are available instantly upon visiting the app — no account required.
  • Scan results are delivered within seconds of uploading a photo.
  • Paid plan credits are activated in your account immediately upon successful payment confirmation. You will see your updated credit balance on your profile page.
  • Certificates are generated and available for download or sharing immediately after a successful Pro scan.

We are committed to processing all orders promptly. In the event of a technical delay, contact us at mbeguoffice@gmail.com and we will resolve it within 1 business day.


4) Refund & Cancellation Policy

All purchases are non-refundable.

Because Mbegu provides digital services that are made available immediately upon payment, we do not offer refunds once a plan or credit package has been activated.

This includes:

  • Starter plan purchases (K57/month)
  • Pro plan purchases (K899/month)
  • Any unused credits remaining at the end of a billing cycle

Exceptions: If you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a payment that was processed but credits were not granted), contact us at mbeguoffice@gmail.com within 7 days of the transaction. We will investigate and, where an error is confirmed, issue a refund or credit correction.

Cancellation: Mbegu plans are currently sold as monthly one-time purchases — there is no automatic recurring billing. You will not be charged again unless you make a new purchase.


5) Data Security & Privacy

We take the security of your data seriously. Our commitments:

  • Encryption in transit: All data exchanged between your device and our servers is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.
  • Access controls: Your account data is protected by row-level security. Only you can access your scan history, profile, and certificates.
  • No stored payment credentials: We do not store your card or mobile money details. Payments are processed entirely by our third-party payment provider (Lenco).
  • Least-privilege access: Our internal systems are designed so that each component can only access the data it needs to function.

6) Order Processing Commitment

We process all payment orders promptly:

  • Credits are granted to your account within minutes of a successful payment.
  • If a payment is confirmed but credits have not appeared after 10 minutes, email us at mbeguoffice@gmail.com with your payment reference number.
  • All order issues are resolved within 1 business day.
